Ken? Is this why you’re there? I assume so.

I am conflicted as you know very well how to train, but so do my running partners here who set up this training schedule.
I’m supposed to go for nine on Saturday. I’ve maxed out on my weekday runs at 6 and 4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, still increasing distance on the weekends.
As I said, torn. Resting sounds great, but I also want to have the stamina to go 13.1 in a month.
I am trying to maintain a single pace: 11 minutes/mile on all trail runs as that’s what I run comfortably on the long runs. I don’t try to speed up on the 4 mile runs unless I’m on pavement and I just run faster because of better footing and no roots, rocks, streams, etc.
I feel like 11-12 minute miles will be comfortable on race day, as I can do that over 8 miles pretty easily (as demonstrated by last Sunday’s trail and pavement run).
Today I was just drained at every mile mark or so. I did run out too quickly—9:45 for the first mile, but I was trying to run slower than that.
