I would love to use Symantec’s iAntiVirus because that’s one of the programs the network is set up to recognize, but it comes through the AppStore.
It’s a weird bug—in Lion, I could get to the AppStore, iTunes, etc. I updated to Mountain Lion ok, but now I can’t get into the AppStore but can get into iTunes. We’ve tried everything the engineers in Cupertino can think to throw at the problem, but no joy.
I’m pretty ticked, as at no time has anyone at Apple said, ‘hmm, maybe this is a problem on our side,’ not on my laptop.
If corporations are people, my friend, why should they not be governments?
