Some progress I guess—sub 12 min/mile.
What a crummy ‘run;’ 2.88 miles in 32.27. Had to walk a third of the route.
Perhaps I shouldn’t have mown the lawn then run at noon. Heat and humidity are a vicious couple of hags.
50:40.75 on the trails. Much better than yesterday, but running at noon is clearly idiotic.
I am a lumbering beast, but at 90*, that was not too bad.
Serious heat coming on. Forecast of 102 today, one oh freaking six tomorrow.
I am not a morning runner. Ugh. 2.64 miles in 28:51. Hot already and it’s not even 9 o’clock. Why am I out of bed?
Easier run today.
And shin splints are back. Deeelightful.
This climate is a trifle warm.
Miles, minutes, molten heat.
These are my totals for May thru today, i.e., my recovery since surgery. Not too bad.
3 miles in 27:44. Beautiful salty air tonight.
I was inspired by Marukami’s What I Talk About When I Talk About Running which was quite good. Lovely air here.
Yay low humidity and low temps.
Owie in knee spot.
My goodness what a difference 1000 miles, hilly trails, and a tumble make. 3.29 miles in 39:27.
I miss Nantucket’s air that’s for sure.
Heat index around 97. Sweaty beast is sweaty.
