Since my world is Italian food, how about roasted asparagus with proscuitto or proscuitto wrapped cheese breadsticks? See, too much Italiano.
Never too much Italiano.
Maybe the proscuitto with asparagus. That sounds amazing.
Thanks Valerie. Glad to hear that you’re walking — and Pasadena ain’t a bad place to walk. Not exactly Florence or Venice, but still.
What the what?! Wow.
It was shocking. I mean, here is a man for whom evolution is happening every minute of every day right in front of his eyes in his ER, and he denies it.
I volunteered at one of the local hospitals a few years ago when I was unemployed. There were signs, pamphlets, and all manner of discussion of MRSA and other resistant strains of bacteria that that hospital knows are present in the facility as there are Purell dispensers everywhere (and like that’s going to help against MRSA).
Evolution predicts that overtime, bacteria will become resistant to antibiotics. Drug resistant strains of staph were discovered in 1947. Four years after penicillin was industrialized.
This doctor knows these facts. And yet.
Cognitive dissonance is real, y’all.
