A tiger mother lost her cubs from premature labor, shortly after she became depressed and her health declined. She was later diagnosed with depression. So they wrapped piglets up in tiger cloth, and gave them to the tiger. The tiger now loves these pigs and treats them like her babies

Maggie (our rescue kitty who had a litter of kittens at 6 months old that were quickly taken from her) had a similar relationship with her little sparkle balls.  They were her babies until she was about a year old.

This seems like a cute and adorable thing now, but won’t the mama tiger figure it out at some point, and…

Now I know why Tigers eat their young. They’re made of bacon.
