HELLS YES I am.
It’s not perfect—fix yo pixilated crap MLB.TV and Mediacom—but I’ve got Don and the Rem Dawg, and all is right with my world.
Must be 12K people at Rogers Centre compared to the 2K at Progressive Field.
Aside from Jon Lester, Dustin Pedroia, Jacoby Ellsbury, Salty, and Big Papi, I’ve just about had it with this team already. They are hard to watch.
It’s April 11th and I already hate Bobby V.
Carlos Pena drives a ball to left for a double.
Josh Beckett might just be done. Leaving a lot of balls over the plate.
Until the BoSox pitchers and catchers report.
It’s nice they’re coming back in two weeks, but damn it’s going to be a looooooong season in the Fens.
Tomorrow is Opening Day, and the Sox are in the Bronx? I knew I was beginning a new spiral of sadness.
I am so rooting for the Mariners this season. After that ‘This is Fenway’ ad, I might never root for the Sox again.
I’ve been a Red Sox fan since I can remember. I grew up less than 30 miles North of Fenway, and have loved that little bandbox all my life.
The current ownership and their continued allegiance with the Curly Haired Boyfriend et al at the Globe to bad-mouth players and run the finest manager that the team ever had out of town as well as this new campaign ‘This is Fenway’ are driving me away.
I live 1200 miles south of Fenway now. I am a BARVES fan to a degree, but I am fully in the tank for King Felix and his band of pranksters in the Northwest, the Mariners.
Basically, I am feeling like the lapsed Catholic that I am, converting to the Church of Felix. Go Ms!
Oh, and F THE YANKEES.
