Terrible Tipper of the Day: Twitter @FutureExBanker says (by way of Eater): “my jerk boss tips exactly 1%” because he loathes the 99%.” He also apparently felt the need to tell True Food Kitchen server Breanna to “get a real job.” 

I think it’s high time someone occupied his ass with their foot.

This makes my blood boil. Guess what, asshat, servers’ gratuities are taxed at ~12% of total sales (which is why it’s better to get tips in cash, why it sucks so hard to get audited when waiting tables, and why most servers get ‘voided’ or $0.00 pay checks every week, but whatever), so you just COST this server money at her very much real job.

Don’t eat out if you won’t/can’t tip 20%.

nb4r I had someone (probably a lawyer) tell me to go be a lawyer instead of waiting tables because a) the world needs another dopey lawyer, and b) I am not a special snowflake who needed to get a Ph.D. while waiting tables.

Waiting tables is sometimes fun and occasionally a source of good money, but jeebus it’s the worst most of the time.
