Portraits of 9/11 Rescue Dogs
I try not to be overwhelmed by 9/11—it’s not something that affected me very much down in Jawja—but these dog portraits get to me. They are noble and kind and giving and wore their feet to the bones trying to find people. They didn’t find many alive.
And now they are getting old. I am a huge sap.
